Speedy Dishcloth fixed, And other notes~

Sonia’s Speedy Dishcloth pattern is fixed~ I believe anyway, lol! Let me know if you have any issues with it, also, don’t be shy, let me see pics! I sent these three to my swap partner, you can alternate colors for different looks.

A little late, but here are the SP 10 pics that I promised. (Brutus decided to check it all out at the last minute!) Thank you SP 10 angels!!!!!!This is what My SP from the Villes Autumn Secret pal sent me! You cant see, but there is also a Hobby Lobby gift card too! Thank you SP!!!!!

Tomorrow, I will be looking at 3 more houses. I think I’m set on a certain one though. Who knows what tomorrow will bring. Positive thoughts guys!

My bother called me tonight, (he’s in OK) just to ask what movie he should watch, lol! Ofcourse, he didn’t go with my pic….figures, lol!!! I’m trying to figure out when we can take the drive up there to visit. I miss him, and his family. My family. I’m also hoping my other brother will drop by. We haven’t seen him for a while. We all miss him.

Anyway, I’m heading to bed. Sleep is finally ready. (hopefully it will still be ready when the lights go out!)

Things are a hoppin’!

My “babies” are back in school! Selah, my first baby is now a freshman in high school! I remember when I was a fish….how can my baby be one???? My other baby is in 7th…still have a few years yet…yay! What an emotional and crazy week so far. We have so much to do, it’s exhausting.
Hubby was home for a few days, and we went house hunting together! ( I have been the lone house hunter) He went to The Valley this morning and will probably be gone for a week or so. . I looked at a few more today, ad think I’ve found a winner. Keep your fingers crossed)

I have joined yet another swap…….I KNOW! HSKS 3!!!! Love this swap!!! I was in the first, skipped the second, but obviously I couldn’t keep away for long! lol! I can’t help myself. Unfortunately, I had to drop a few others. (Trying to save some extra money) Sniffle Sniffle….. Whatever will I do??(input southern accent!)

I will be updating my Boutique. I forgot all about my page, and have sold a few that are pictured. Silly me. So, for now, it is marked private…..I will unveil soon! I have some more stitch markers and a few patterns for 12″ squares. One is govig me a bit of a prob, but it will get there.

My unknown at the Ville send me an awesome package yesterday!!!!! THANK YOU SECRET SISTER!!!!! I will update with a pic soon. (She’s on vac, so no hurry!)

Also, my coffee and a surprise swap stuff came in today! AWESOME! I love swaps so much!!!!!

There is another charity scarf event . The need is for purple scarves for domestic violence. If interested, message me. Otherwise….tomorrow I will have the info updated.

TV SHOW NEWS!

Season 2 of BIG LOVE is over(HBO). What an end! You sort of have to feel sorry for ol’ Roman. I did feel a little bit sorry for Alby in the beginning…..but after what he’s been pulling, he can go where the sun don’t shine….so to speak, lol! UMM, don’t ask me what it is about this show, but I’m HOOKED!!!!!! It may be because it’s so different. I also love Bill Paxton. Yum!!! (even thought he’s played the wimp in a few of his movies!!!!! HILARIOUS!!!! Alien and True Crime)

I can’t wait for Private Practice to start (ABC) When they did the GA show with the cast…..I was like, I want to watch that show! Little did I know that was the plan the whole time! LOVE IT!!!!

OFA’s 2008 Red Scarf Project is officially underway. Knitters and crocheters who wish to send a
unique message of support for foster youth via their colorful handmade creations can send in
scarves to OFA between September 1 and October 15, 2007. Visit the Red Scarf Page for the
latest information and guidelines.

Red Scarf Project FAQ

Guidelines for Knitters/crocheters

Scarf Size: Approximately 60″ long and 5″ to 8″ wide. Scarves should
be long enough to be wrapped around the neck, with tails long enough to be
tied in the front.

Style: Think unisex collegiate. Ask yourself if your son, brother, and/or
husband would enjoy receiving the scarf. Fringes are optional. Your scarf should
drape and tie easily.

Yarn: Preferably DK, double fingering-weight, worsted weight, or light
bully yarns. No laceweight, super-chunky, or mohair yarns as there are many
people who find mohair too itchy. The yarn should be soft.

Color: Red! However, this could mean burgundy, cherry, russet, red stripes
with other colors, or multicolor hues including red. Other unisex colors, including black,
navy, teal, olive or gold are also welcome.

Finished and tagged: Yarn ends should be securely sewn in. For a personal touch,
attach a tag saying “Handmade for You” with your first name, city, and group affiliation,
if any. Donors have also included washing instructions, messages of encouragement,
gift cards, burger bucks, books of stamps, etc.

Where will my Red Scarf be sent?

Your wonderful handmade creation will be sent in a Valentine’s Day Care Package
(February 2008) to an OFA student enrolled in college or trade school.

When/where do I send my scarf?

Send your scarf between September 1 through October 15, 2007 to:

Finally, a lovely cup of tea!

My PG Tips came in today!!!! It has been way to long since I’ve enjoyed a cup. (And boy am I enjoying it!)

My PC is down. It has been for the last 2 weeks or so now. THANK HEAVENS KC left me his laptop….He is just the best. We will get it looked at eventually, but right now other things are more important.

I think I have all of my links on the laptop now…..Hopefully….I’m sure I have a bunch that I will find again later. I think the main ones are set though. The printer is finally configured to the laptop. That was fun, let me tell ya! I’ve lost pictures though. I hope we will be able to retrieve them , but there were a few I NEED now. Not happy. Ohh well, what can ya do. My phone is almost transferred fully over. YAY!! Monday, all should be completed. It’s even on another side f the house. (long story)Still looking for a house. Getting the kids ready for back to school. I know you all know how much fun that is!!

It’s Autumn Secret Pal time at the Ville again!!! YAY!! I love swaps, secret pals, ad the ‘Ville just does it the best!

I have so many ideas planned for my SP….I’m so excited. I also can’t wait to find out who my unknown is. It’s sooo much fun! For one round, I had my friend Miranda…..that was very hard to keep a secret. I NEVER WANT SOMEONE I KNOW AGAIN!!It was a difficult swap!! LOL….It was still fun though!

AHHHHHH, I started a Mystery Yarn Ball Swap for my daughter. So, come join, it will be fun! I have some square swaps that Selah and I are doing, a couple of dishcloth swaps, and a stitch marker swap. My coffee/book came in today for another swap that I’m in. I can’t wait to try the coffee. The Kona blend smells yum !!! One of the books was a Victorian mystery romance, and the other was Children of Men……I have been wanting to read this!! Soo yay!!

And, I cannot forget Misty. Misty, Misty, Misty!!!! I love the shawl and square. The shawl was soooooo pretty! I will get a picture up soon. Thank you!!! ( I love the color and fringe!!)
